Software Engineer (Backend)

Job Title: Software Engineer (Golang Backend)Experience : 3-5 YearsLocation: Fremont, CA – 100% Onsite (5 Days/Week)Interview: In-Person Interview RequiredKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang.Build high-performance distributed systems capable of handling large-scale workloads.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging technologies.Develop scalable backend services utilizing gRPC for high-performance communication.Optimize system performance, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.Integrate backend services with MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and other data storage technologies.Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.Contribute to CI/CD processes and software quality improvements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of professional backend software development experience.Strong programming experience in Golang.Candidates with strong Java, C#, or C++ backend experience and distributed systems expertise are also considered.Extensive experience designing and developing distributed systems.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, concurrency, and scalable system design.Experience working in Agile development environments.Required Technical SkillsProgramming LanguagesGolang (Preferred)JavaC#C++Backend FrameworksASP.NET (Preferred)ArchitectureDistributed SystemsMicroservicesREST APIsgRPCEvent-Driven ArchitectureDatabasesMySQLRedisMongoDBMessaging & StreamingApache KafkaPreferred QualificationsExperience with Elasticsearch.Experience with ClickHouse.Python development experience.Strong knowledge of distributed caching strategies.Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant systems.Familiarity with cloud-native backend architectures.Experience building high-throughput backend services.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced engineering environment.Passion for writing clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
