Territory Sales Representative - Facades (Midwest Region)

We're seeking a results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our Facades Sales Team. Reporting to the Northeast District Sales Manager, this role is responsible for growing new business and expanding market share by partnering with builders, architects, applicators, contractors, and distributors across the region.This is a great opportunity for sales professionals with experience in construction-related products and distribution who thrive in a relationship-driven, field-based role.What You'll DoDevelop and execute a territory- specific sales strategy coverin IL, MI, WI and INIdentify and engage key prospects to generate new business opportunitiesSecure appointments and close sales with builders, applicators, and contractorsPromote high-value products while ensuring quality and performance standardsDeliver product presentations, job-site support, and on-site demonstrationsBuild strong relationships with distributors and dealers to generate leads and referralsProvide market insights, competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunitiesSupport contractors and partners through in-store and job-site visitsTravel approximately 70% of the time, including overnight travel as neededWhat We're Looking ForEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field and/or equivalent experience2+ years of sales experience in construction-related industries, such as: Waterproofing, drywall, steel, lumber, paint, siding.Strong candidates may also come from the contracting or distribution side of the business5+ years of successful sales experience selling commodity and value-added solutions (preferred)Experience with market development concepts (adoption lifecycle, STP, innovation growth)Sales management or market development experience (a plus)Required Skills & CompetenciesProven success in territory management and new business developmentStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsResults-driven with excellent time management and organizational abilitiesConfident presenter to both small and large groupsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Knowledge of industry trends and best sales practicesValid driver's license and willingness to travel extensivelyPerks & BenefitsCompetitive base salary with bonus opportunities401(k) with generous company matchMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Parental LeaveLife and Disability InsurancePaid Time Off, Paid Holidays & Floating HolidaysPaid Volunteer TimeWellness & Fitness ReimbursementsEducation Assistance & Professional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Program & moreAscendo is an equal opportunity employer.
