Experienced Laser Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Laser Technician who specializes specifically in laser hair removal. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and certified Laser Hair Removal Technician with a passion for the aesthetics industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of hands-on experience dedicated to performing laser hair removal. You will be responsible for conducting client consultations, performing treatments safely and effectively, and providing exceptional pre- and post-treatment care. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality, safe, and effective laser hair removal treatments on various body areas. Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin type (using the Fitzpatrick scale), hair type, and medical history to determine treatment eligibility and settings. Clearly explain the laser hair removal process, expected outcomes, and potential risks to clients. Develop appropriate treatment plans for clients to achieve their desired results. Ensure all clients receive proper pre- and post-care instructions. Maintain meticulous charting and clinical documentation for every client. Uphold all state, federal, and medical spa safety and sanitation protocols. Operate and maintain the laser equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and in safe working order. Build strong relationships with clients to ensure retention, satisfaction, and completion of their treatment packages. Confidently educate clients on the laser hair removal packages and retail products we offer. Qualifications and Skills Required: Must hold a valid and current Laser Technician certification/license in the state of Texas. Minimum of 1+ years of professional, hands-on experience performing laser hair removal. In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, different skin types, hair growth cycles, and contraindications for laser hair removal. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Professional, polished appearance and demeanor. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to client safety and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred (Nice-to-Have): Experience with Cynosure Apogee Elite Plus, not required, but recommended Valid Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
