The successful candidate will be tasked with the oversight of day-to-day financial operations, leading a team of direct reports, and driving department initiatives such as coding, strategic planning, gap analyses, and process improvement. Strong leadership and mentorship skills are essential, with a focus on fostering a positive work environment that values communication, collaboration, and employee engagement. The role requires an experienced revenue cycle leader with a proven track record in optimizing financial growth, particularly in the context of centralization, acquisition/merger, and offshoring.Applicants for the Interim Vice President position must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for additional certifications such as CPB and/or CPC-A. A minimum of 5 years' VP-level experience and a background in acute hospital operations at a division level and above are mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the revenue cycle, including coding and strategic financial planning, and be adept at leading a team through change and process improvement.
