Business Development Manager – Construction Tent StructuresLocation: Remote – United States (1 week onsite training in Scottsdale, AZ)Employment Type : Full-Time | W2Travel : Travel as needed based on client territory and business development activities.OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in selling temporary tent structures and clear span structures specifically within construction and industrial environments.This role is focused on developing new business opportunities, expanding strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across construction, infrastructure, industrial, and modular project sectors. The ideal candidate has an established network within the construction tent/temporary structures industry and a proven track record of selling engineered tent or clear span solutions for jobsite, industrial, or operational use cases.Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on event, festival, or party tent sales will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and grow new business opportunities for temporary structures and clear span solutions within construction and industrial marketsBuild relationships with general contractors, EPC firms, industrial clients, infrastructure companies, and project stakeholdersIdentify and pursue strategic partnerships that expand market reach and generate qualified leadsManage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract executionCollaborate with internal operations and account teams to deliver customized structural solutions for clientsExpand presence in untapped territories and emerging construction sectorsMaintain and grow long-term client relationships through consultative selling and solution-based engagementTrack pipeline activity, forecasting, and customer engagement within CRM systemsAttend industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings as neededRequired Qualifications5+ years of business development or sales experience focused primarily on tent structures, clear span structures, or temporary structures within construction or industrial environmentsProven success generating revenue and developing accounts within construction-related industriesStrong understanding of temporary structure applications for construction sites, industrial operations, infrastructure projects, or workforce solutionsExperience managing strategic partnerships and consultative sales engagementsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentWillingness to travel as needed based on client and territory requirementsPreferred QualificationsExisting relationships with construction, industrial, energy, infrastructure, or modular project clientsExperience supporting enterprise or national account programsStrong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to identify operational efficiencies and value-added solutions for clientsWork EnvironmentRemote home office setup with virtual collaborationPerformance-driven sales environmentTravel to customer sites, partner meetings, and industry events as neededImportant NotesCandidates must have direct experience selling tent or clear span structures in construction or industrial settings.Candidates whose background is primarily event/festival tent sales will not be considered.Candidates who sold tents only as a small portion of a broader construction equipment portfolio may not be a fit.
