If it sounds like you, this opportunity is for youThe HR Generalist provides guidance and support within a fastpaced food manufacturing environment across a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, training, compliance, and HR operations. This role serves as a key partner to supervisors and managers, offering guidance on HR policies, performance management, and workforce development. The HR Generalist works with a high level of independence and contributes to HR initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.Employee Relations & Workplace SupportServe as a primary HR contact for employees and leaders, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee concerns.Conduct employee relations investigations, document findings, and recommend appropriate actions.Support performance management processes, including coaching, corrective action, and development plans.Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.Recruitment & Talent AcquisitionManage full-cycle recruiting for hourly, technical, and select salaried roles.Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop sourcing strategies.Conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and oversee pre-employment processes.Support workforce planning and retention strategies.Training & DevelopmentCoordinate and track required training, including safety, compliance, and job-specific programs.Assist in developing training materials and supporting leadership development initiatives.Maintain accurate training records for audits and regulatory compliance.HR Operations & ComplianceMaintain HRIS data accuracy and support reporting needs.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage & hour).Assist with policy updates, audits, and internal process improvements.Support payroll and benefits administration, including payroll processing support, employee questions and issue resolution.Qualifications and SkillsRequired3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or a similar environmentStrong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and HR complianceExperience handling employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentialityExcellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferredBachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related fieldHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systemsCompensation details: 55000-65000 Hourly WagePIb34288434493-31181-40452450
