We're looking forward to adding a warm, highly organized leader to serve as the "mayor" of our growing preschool community — a full-time, academic-year role that includes 5+ weeks of paid school breaks and holidays. Our school blends Montessori and Reggio-inspired approaches to create an environment where children learn through curiosity, creativity, and exploration.We are seeking to add a Campus Director who will serve as a key leader within our school community. This is a highly relational, hands-on role focused on supporting teachers, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring the daily rhythm of the school runs smoothly.This position is not desk-based — it is a visible, in-the-classrooms leadership role. The Campus Director is present with teachers and students, greeting families, and helping cultivate the warm, connected community that defines Ivybrook.Key ResponsibilitiesTeacher Leadership & SupportOur teachers are the heart of our classrooms. A central responsibility of this role is ensuring teachers feel supported, heard, and equipped throughout the school day.The Campus Director serves as the primary daily leader and resource for teachers.Responsibilities include:Serving as the first point of support for teachers throughout the dayHelping teachers problem-solve classroom challengesMaintaining classroom ratios and coordinating coverage when neededSupporting teachers with planning time and classroom logisticsFacilitating communication between teachers, administration, and familiesFostering a positive, collaborative team cultureRecognizing and celebrating teacher successesThis role requires someone who is both a strong operational leader and a deeply supportive partner to teachers.Family Experience & EnrollmentThe Campus Director helps ensure every family feels welcomed, known, and connected to the school.Responsibilities include:Leading tours for prospective familiesFollowing up with tour families and managing the enrollment pipelineBuilding strong relationships with current familiesResponding to parent questions and helping resolve concernsSupporting school events and community-building opportunitiesDaily School OperationsThe Campus Director works closely with the Owner and teaching team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.Responsibilities include:Monitoring classroom ratios and daily schedulesAssisting with licensing compliance and documentationCoordinating substitute coverageManaging operational logistics throughout the dayCommunicating with vendors and assisting with facility needsCommunity LeadershipThis is where the "mayor of the school" mindset comes to life.You will:Greet families during arrival and dismissalKnow children and families by nameMaintain a welcoming, organized school environmentHelp cultivate a strong sense of community among familiesIdeal CandidateStrong candidates may come from backgrounds such as:Montessori or private school administrationPreschool or early childhood leadershipAdmissions or school operationsCommunity program leadershipHospitality or event managementKey qualities:Warm, relational, and community-orientedHighly organized and proactiveStrong communicator with both teachers and parentsCalm, solution-oriented problem solverNatural leadership presenceCompensation & ScheduleSalary Range: $40,000 – $55,000 annuallyThis is a full-time leadership role that follows an academic-year schedule and includes approximately 5 weeks of paid school breaks, in addition to major holidays.Paid time off includes:Fall BreakWinter BreakSpring BreakSummer Break (1 week)Major holidaysThis structure provides meaningful work within a school community while offering built-in time throughout the year to recharge.The position will officially begin in August 2026, with a thoughtful onboarding and training period scheduled during the summer.About Ivybrook AcademyIvybrook Academy blends Montessori and Reggio-inspired approaches to create a thoughtful and engaging preschool environment where children learn through exploration and creativity.We are a rapidly growing campus, and this leadership role will play a key part in shaping our next stage of growth.Company DescriptionIvybrook Academy is a half-day preschool that offers a blended Montessori and Reggio Emilia approach.
