Laser Operator

Position Overviewdormakaba is seeking a Laser Operator based in Reamstown, PA. The Laser Operator is responsible for operating the laser machine. This role also supports the production team by operating machinery, bending, and punching metal products. This is a technical role with machine operation focus.The base pay range for this position is $23/hr. – 28/hr. Mandatory overtime as needed.What You Will DoOperate the laser machine and other machinery used in the production processAssist other machine operators in running various machines if neededPerform basic equipment setup and inspections using precision measuring and gauging equipmentDocument and perform all job/routing procedures as directedUtilize working knowledge about shield gases while operating the laser cutting machineUphold all OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities of the roleWhat we requireHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent2-4 years manufacturing experience2 years machine operating experienceMust be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form—including reading, writing, and listening — with functional English proficiency requiredMust be able to read a tape measure/scale to the 1/32nd Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
