This role focuses on building technical capabilities for new and existing employees through structured training and on-the-job development to ensure employees are equipped to perform effectively.Responsibilities We Trust You With:Oversee and direct training of new employees and of employees new to positionsIdentify training gaps and needs and design training solutions to fill these gapsCoordinate, oversee and direct training of current employees to build technical knowledgeLead CI and Training initiatives that drives measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, cost and people capability. To include facilitating RCA events and coaching A3 methodologyDesign and implement improvements in the current training system and processCoordinate personnel schedule for the plantRelieve production supervisors as neededResponsible for adhering to all quality system requirementsFollows plant rules and complies with applicable regulatory standardsResponsible to meet all food safety, quality and customer requirements for this positionPartner with Operations, HR, Quality, EHS, and Engineering to integrate new procedures, equipment, and processes into training curricula.Develop and monitor KPIs such as certification rates, training cycle time, and skill progression.Lead and coach training staff, providing guidance in facilitation, instructional design, and technical capabilityEducation and Experience:2-year degree in business management or equivalent or comparable work experience2-4 years of experience in a food processing environment preferredProven process improvement mindsetSupervisory experience requiredTechnical and/or mechanical aptitude requiredExperience developing and delivering training programs in a production or industrial environment.Better Process School
