Senior Project SchedulerThe Senior Project Scheduler is the advanced technical and leadership level in the scheduling job family. Building on the core and advanced responsibilities of the Project Scheduler, the Senior Scheduler provides integrated project schedule management, leads predictive schedule analysis, and ensures full alignment between schedule, scope, cost, risk, and quality systems. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in planning and scheduling, responsible for developing integrated project baselines, driving schedule forecasting, leading contract schedule assessments, and integrating all major project controls functions. The Senior Scheduler guides project teams and leadership by delivering strategic schedule insights, risk-informed recommendations, and optimized path-forward plans. Hybrid position- in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Advanced Integration Across Project Management SystemsThe Senior Scheduler integrates schedule management seamlessly with scope, cost, risk, and quality management systems. Develops and maintains fully integrated project baselines representing the entire plan to achieve project objectives. Performs predictive, risk-informed schedule management, using opportunity-based forecasting. Leads schedule initiation processes using project quality and risk frameworks. Senior integrates all major project controls systems into a unified predictive model. Leadership in Predictive & Quantitative Schedule AnalysisPerforming advanced schedule forecasting using risk tools such as Expected Monetary Value (EMV) and sensitivity analysis. Developing risk-managed baselines and applying "cost of quality" concepts to schedule development and control. Performing deep-dive schedule assessments to identify proactive, preventive, and predictive actions. Driving predictive schedule modeling to maximize accuracy, reliability, and flexibility. Senior Scheduler performs quantitative forecasting and risk-driven predictive modeling. Contract Commercial & Performance LeadershipConducts contract schedule reviews for alignment with scope, milestones, and performance. Assesses contractor performance and identifies issues needing corrective action. Advises project managers, major project leaders, and scheduling leadership on contract schedule risks and opportunities. Senior leads contract performance analysis and forecasting. Creation & Tailoring of Advanced Schedule Processes, Tools & TechniquesTailors schedule methodologies, processes, tools, and techniques to the unique needs of the project. Directs schedule management strategy throughout the lifecycle. Designs and implements schedule processes that increase precision and predictability. Leads lifecycle planning with progressive, risk-managed forecasting. Senior creates, refines, and tailors the processes. Strategic Reporting & Leadership CommunicationProduces both standard and advanced schedule reports for project stakeholders, leadership, and executives. Communicates complex schedule insights with clarity and influence to guide decision-making. Acts as a trusted advisor and SME for schedule-related corrective/predictive planning Senior Scheduler provides strategic insight and executive-level advisory support. Promoting best practices and compliance with standards, guidelines, and industry frameworks (AACE, PMI, etc.) Senior leads strategic integration and project-wide alignment. Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma 6+ years of construction/engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a project scheduler High-level proficiency with Primavera P6 and advanced spreadsheet tools Experience managing schedules in large industrial capital project environments Strong integrated understanding of scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality management Proficiency with risk and quality management tools and techniques Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills Ability to generate, analyze, and progress complex multi-level schedules and databases Ability to read and interpret schedules; database and schedule software proficiency Valid Drivers License in state, upon hire Preferred Additional Qualifications for PositionBachelor's Degree and four years experience as a project scheduler.
