Compensation reflective of seniority, scope complexity, and program criticality.Position OverviewPlanet Pharma is seeking a senior Equipment Construction Lead to support a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing capital program in Central Indiana. This is an owner's representative leadership role responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, and turnover readiness of process equipment and vendor skids across a GMP pharmaceutical facility. The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of capital construction experience including hands-on equipment installation, vendor coordination, and construction-to-commissioning transition in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead owner's representative oversight of all process equipment and vendor skid installation activities across the programCoordinate directly with OEM vendors, equipment suppliers, and installation contractors to ensure timely, specification-compliant delivery and installationManage FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) activities for major process equipmentOversee equipment installation verification against approved IFC drawings, vendor manuals, and project specificationsDevelop and manage equipment punch list processes, coordinate resolution of installation deficiencies, and track closeoutInterface with piping, E&I, and mechanical leads to manage equipment scope interfaces and installation sequencingSupport GMP documentation requirements including equipment installation records, deviation management, and turnover package preparationMentor and manage Equipment Construction Supervisor/Coordinator reporting into this roleRepresent the owner's position in contractor and vendor coordination meetingsEnsure contractor compliance with site safety standards, GMP construction expectations, and quality requirementsRequirements & Qualifications20+ years of capital construction experience with a strong focus on process equipment and vendor skid installation — REQUIREDDirect pharma, biotech, or other regulated industry experience (food & beverage, petrochemical, oil & gas acceptable for applicable scopes)Demonstrated experience as an owner's representative or client-side construction manager on programs of $100M+ in valueHands-on experience with buffer prep skids, UF/DF systems, chromatography equipment, CIP/SIP packages, or similar process equipmentWorking knowledge of FAT/SAT protocols, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation requirements, and GMP commissioning readiness standardsStrong proficiency in construction management and documentation platforms (Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent)Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and hold OEM partners accountable to schedule and specificationOSHA 30 certification required; MS or BS in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering discipline preferredISPE membership a plus; KNEAT proficiency a plusAbility to work full-time on-site in Central Indiana
