Job Title: Litigation AttorneyLocation: Hybrid - Plainville, MA 02762Job Type: PermanentDepartment: LegalSalary: USD $85,000 - $105,000 / yrOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Massachusetts with a strong background in the residential foreclosure process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling foreclosure-related litigation, from reviewing case files and titles to representing clients in court. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic legal team focused on delivering efficient, compliant, and client-focused representation in the creditors' rights and foreclosure space.Must-HavesMassachusetts Bar, member in good standingAdmission in the Rhode Island and New Hampshire Bars preferred3-5 years of civil litigation/trial experience Experience in:Residential or commercial real estateForeclosureFDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claimsCreditor rights ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issues to ensure marketable title or identify resolution optionsConduct legal researchDraft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and memorandaAppear at court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other proceedingsAnalyze cases, manage discovery, and assist clients with discovery responses and document reviewCommunicate effectively with clients and provide legal advice on strategies and outcomesDevelop and implement litigation plans for efficient case resolutionMaintain case management status reports and collaborate with paralegalsManage a high-volume workload efficientlyMeet monthly billable hour requirementsReview and approve pre-bills Required Skills & KnowledgeStrong knowledge of:Residential foreclosure processGeneral real estate lawLitigationTitle curative / title claimsPost-judgment litigationExperience with Microsoft Suite and case management softwareStrong courtroom presence (civil jury or non-jury trial experience)Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-taskStrong work ethic and team-oriented mindsetEducation & CertificationJ.D. from an accredited law schoolMassachusetts Bar (required)
