From our curated boutiques to our presence in the world’s most prestigious wholesalers, Assouline provides a world of intellect and good taste.Our Marketing team is seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a specialized focus on Trade and Retail Marketing. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be the bridge between our brand vision and our global points of sale.This is a full-time, in-office position (5 days per week) based in our NYC office. Core ResponsibilitiesTrade Support & Toolkits: Create high-impact marketing decks, wholesale pitch kits, and visual merchandising guidelines to support our global partners.Retail Excellence: Produce comprehensive sales training materials and "Product Knowledge" decks to ensure retail staff provide a luxury experience.Asset Management: Organize and distribute the digital asset library (high-res imagery, brand videos, and copy) specifically for wholesale partner portals and retail displays.Market Intelligence: Conduct competitive research on luxury retail trends and wholesale landscape to identify new placement opportunities.Performance Reporting: Build detailed recaps on the ROI of retail activations, window displays, and wholesale promotions.360 Campaign Execution: Assist in the rollout of 20+ annual product launches, ensuring consistent brand messaging across B2B channels, physical boutiques, and e-commerce.Channel Coordination: Support the execution of the marketing calendar with a specific eye on how digital initiatives (social/email) drive traffic to physical retail locations.RequirementsTrade Marketing Literacy: Understanding of the lifecycle of luxury goods—from production and logistics to the retail floor.Operational Awareness: Ability to navigate cross-functional operations (Sales, Logistics, and Creative) to ensure wholesale orders are supported by marketing collateral.Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in measuring the success of new product launches and in-store activations using sell-through data.Technical Suite:Microsoft Office: Excel Power User (Pivot tables and data analysis are a plus).Adobe Creative Cloud: Proficiency in InDesign is essential for localized deck creation.Digital Platforms: Experience with Klaviyo (or similar ESPs) and content management systems.Experience: 2+ years in a marketing role, preferably within luxury retail, wholesale distribution, or consumer goods.You Will Thrive If You Are:Commercial & Creative: You understand that a beautiful book is a cultural object, but you also understand the "business of beauty" and what makes a product move off the shelf.Hyper-Detailed: You can manage the nuances of multiple wholesale accounts simultaneously without losing quality control.A Natural Communicator: You are comfortable speaking with internal stakeholders and external retail partners alike.Problem Solver: You can pivot quickly when a retail launch requires a creative, last-minute marketing solution.Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000Assouline is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
