**Company :**Allegheny Health Network**Job Description :****There are (2) positions available****GENERAL OVERVIEW:**Evaluates and treats patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits which impact their abilities to successfully perform independent living skills; coordinates work performed by support personnel; effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, families and members of the healthcare team.**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition and establishes goals and plan of care, which are appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.+ Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard, and possibly specialized, occupational therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.+ Completes documentation to comply with department, hospital, and regulatory standards.+ Participates in departmental initiatives for operational improvement including committees and educational offerings.+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.**QUALIFICATIONS:**Minimum+ Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university+ Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or eligible.+ CPR certification+ Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate+ Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate+ Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance CertificatePreferred+ Master's Degree.+ Current driver's license may be required.+ National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)**_Disclaimer:_** _The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
