Janitor $17.00/hr. + 7% quarterly incentive 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Janitor Kokomo Who we are looking for: We are currently searching for a Janitor to be based out of Kokomo, IN. Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, this person will be responsible for general cleaning and maintaining all areas in good condition.What you’ll do: Janitor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Adherence to Atkore Safety / Life Saving Rules is paramountDemonstrate core valuesClean all areas of the office, break room, locker room, bathrooms, and production areasMaintain building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuumingClean and supply restroomsRemoving waste and empty trashOrganize janitorial storage areas and keep supplies stockedMaintain a cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleanedNotify supervisors about unsafe conditions or the need for repairs or maintenanceAll duties as instructed by supervisionWhat you’ll bring: High school degree or GED equivalent1-3 years of Janitorial experienceWillingness to work in an industrial manufacturing environmentMust be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operationsFlexibility of shift schedule including overtime and weekendsMust possess an outgoing positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethicWithin 3 months, you’ll: Report and keep inventory of consumable supplies utilized for the positionHave obtained full knowledge, timing, and understanding of the facility to complete necessary tasks efficientlyAccurately report inventory levels of consumable items used in operation of this positionWho we are: Atkore is a six-time Great Place to Work© certified company and a four-time Top Workplaces USA award winner!
