Air Pricing Coordinator

Air Pricing CoordinatorThis position will allow a candidate exposure to both the commercial/sales and operations aspects of the transportation and freight forwarding industry working directly with executive management on sales initiatives.Effective coordination with sales, customers, operations teams, and overseas offices to gather pricing for sales opportunities is the main responsibility of this position. Pricing and sales initiatives range from individual spot quotes to major bids for supply chain and transportation services.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesMatching company's transportation product offerings to customer's needed scope of service, identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships.Analyzing customer targets and negotiating final pricing proposals to gain business.Rate negotiation with internal offices and third-parties/agents.Managing creation and maintenance of pricing matrices for new and existing accounts.Work on daily air freight spot quote requests for US accounts. Work with management to analyze air freight requests/opportunities to find best solutions for requests that come.Work closely with local and international air freight teams to confirm spot pricing, service, and capacity for key accounts as assigned by management.Job Requirements and QualificationsAccepting recent college graduates without any previous experience, but with firm grasp of Excel and other Microsoft Office SuitePriority given to those with prior Pricing and/or Freight Forwarding experience (1-2 years)Associate's degree or relevant work experience.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $29.80 Per Hour
