Join our dynamic team and contribute to building a super app that revolutionizes how people manage their car-related needs.Position Overview:We seek a highly skilled and motivated Java Engineer to join our in-house development team in Fremont, California. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience and a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and robust solutions. You will work collaboratively, solving complex problems and contributing to the core platform that powers Way.com.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Perform code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug applications.Optimize and scale existing systems for better performance and reliability.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 4 years of professional Java development experience.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.Proficient with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Why Join Us?Be part of a mission-driven company that creates meaningful solutions for car owners.Competitive salary and benefits package.Work in a collaborative, innovative environment.Opportunity for growth and advancement in a fast-paced company.If you're passionate about technology and ready to impact a growing company, we’d love to hear from you!
