DescriptionThe Gate Automation & Low Voltage Technician plays a key role in both installation and service of gate systems and commercial security technologies. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of mechanical work, low-voltage systems, and customer interaction, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term career.What You'll DoInstall, service, and troubleshoot:Gate systems (slide, swing, lift, crash gates)Parking revenue control systemsBollards and barrier systemsSupport installation and service of low-voltage and security systems, including:Access control systemsCCTV/video surveillanceSecurity/intrusion systemsFire alarm systemsVoice/data cabling and structured wiringWired and wireless networksPaging and telephone entry systemsProgram, test, and troubleshoot commercial security and access systemsProvide on-site customer service, including system training and supportCollaborate with team members and assist in training new techniciansTravel to job sites throughout Ohio as neededRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForExperience with low-voltage systems (access control, cameras, intrusion, or cabling)Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot commercial security systemsStrong problem-solving skills and logical thinkingExcellent customer service and communication skillsComfortable using smartphones, tablets, and laptops in the fieldProficiency with hand and power toolsEagerness to learn and grow within a technical fieldNice to Have* Experience with gate automation systems* HVAC, electrical, or construction background
