Cheese Counter Lead/ Tasting Room Associate
Summary The Cheese Counter Lead/Tasting Room Associate position responsible for organizing and leading the cheese program at Le Vigne Winery. The person will be responsible for a well-organized cheese counter and maintaining a cut cheese inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Maintains a well-organized store layout and product merchandising.
· Responsible for stocking, inventory and re-ordering our specialty cheeses and gourmet food products.
· Helps with receiving shipments and sorting of inventory of cheese on a weekly basis.
· Assist with the preparation of custom orders, cheese platters and charcuterie plates.
· Clean and maintain the storage cases and displays daily.
· Greet guests as they check in.
· Help tasting room staff with cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing glassware throughout the day.
· Clean and stock bathrooms
· Use the POS system to ring up customer orders.
· Work special events, dinners, and parties when needed.
Qualifications/Education
· Stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
· Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, box cutters and pallet jacks when necessary.
· Excellent leadership and communication skills
· Ability to lift 45 pounds on a daily basis.

Food Handlers Certification
RBS Certification
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
