The business has more than doubled revenue over the past decade while simultaneously improving retention - an uncommon achievement at this scale. Its Georgia business is one of the firm’s strongest operations and is known internally for exceptionally low turnover, a collaborative culture, and a healthy pipeline across more than 10 vertical markets.THE POSITION:The firm is seeking a Project Executive/Vice President (depending on seniority level) to join their ATL leadership team. This is a true business-leader role - not simply senior project oversight, carrying meaningful responsibility for executive-level client relationships, profitability, repeat business, and the performance and development of project portfolios.The role is a seller-doer position, but it is grounded in relationships, delivery credibility, and trust, having consistent visibility and collaboration with senior executive leadership and meaningful input into pursuits, strategy, and overall office performance. This position was created through expansion and internal promotions and is one of the most senior hires the firm expects to make this year. It is not being broadly advertised and will be filled selectively.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead executive oversight across multiple large-scale projects, frequently totaling $150M+ in combined volume.Own executive-level client relationships and serve as the primary point of accountability for delivery, communication, and outcomes.Drive profitability through budget management, cost control, risk mitigation, schedule adherence, and change management.Partner closely with operations, field leadership, and preconstruction teams to align delivery strategy, staffing plans, and project execution.Provide strategic direction and leadership to large project and cross-functional teams.Support select pursuits, interviews, and relationship development efforts to drive repeat work and long-term client partnerships.Guide contract execution, buyout strategy, and vendor/subcontractor performance to ensure strong financial results and alignment with company standards.Ensure compliance with safety, QA/QC, and company procedures across all assigned work.Mentor and develop internal talent to strengthen leadership depth and succession planning within the office.REQUIREMENTS:10+ years of commercial construction experience with a strong track record in senior project leadership (PX, Senior Project Manager, Project Director, or equivalent).Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple concurrent, or individual large projects, complex stakeholders, and high-accountability delivery environments.Strong background in client relationship management, contract execution, and financial oversight.Experience in healthcare and/or industrial/distribution, general commercial is highly valued; mission critical/data center exposure is a plus.Ability to lead, coach, and elevate high-performing teams across project management and field operations.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.WHY APPLY:Step into a role that functions as a true business leadership seat with autonomy, visibility, and influence.Join a high-performing operation with strong culture, low turnover, and a robust $2B+ project pipeline.Benefit directly from company performance through a 100% employee-owned ESOP model and long-term wealth-building upside.Clear runway into VP, division leadership, or market-specific leadership tracks for strong performers.Atlanta-based role with little to no travel, supporting long-term lifestyle stability.COMPENSATION & OWNERSHIP (HIGHLIGHTS):Year 1 total compensation is expected to exceed $275K (base plus a guaranteed bonus in writing), with flexibility upward depending on fit.Ongoing annual bonuses commonly range from ~$100K–$350K at the executive level based on individual and company performance.Long-term total annual value can exceed ~$800K over time for top performers when factoring performance bonuses plus ESOP value creation.ESOP STRUCTURE:100% ESOP with no buy-in required.Top 1% performing ESOP in ENR 400ESOP value commonly reaches seven figures over time, with strong growth years producing substantial individual value appreciation.
