Estimator/Project Manager (Drywall)Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to oversee drywall projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and managing timelines, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for drywall projects including labor, materials, and overhead costs.Manage project schedules and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status and any changes to scope or budget.Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.Implement strategies to improve project efficiencies and reduce costs.QualificationsProven experience as an Estimator or Project Manager in the drywall or construction industry.Strong knowledge of drywall, metal framing, EIFS, plastering, and stucco techniques.Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost estimation.Effective communication and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
