DescriptionThe Ithaca School District is looking for a dynamic team player to be our next Speech and Language Pathologist. The Ithaca School District is a 4K-12th Grade district all on one campus with 320 students in the beautiful southwestern part of Wisconsin.Ithaca is seeking a full-time, Speech and Language Pathologist. The Speech and Language Pathologist, a member of the Special Educaiton and Pupil Services Department, is a therapist who works directly with children having exceptional educational needs in the area of speech and/or language.Interested applicants must possess a Master's degree, have or be eligible for a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction license in Speech and Language Pathology (1820), and have two years' experience.Qualified Personnel will have the following responsibilities:-Provide quality, evidence-based speech and language intervention students, Pre-K (including 3-year olds) through high school-Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations-Develop appropriate plan/IEP to meet each child's individual needs-Complete all evaluation, IEP, early childhood outcomes, transition plan, and dismissal paperwork, and attend all related meetings-Measure student progress through accurate data collection- Complete billing paperwork for eligible students- Assist with 4-year old kindergarten screenings- Collaborate with teachers, parents, occupational therapist, and school psychologist- Serve as a resource to parents and teachers regarding speech and language issues
