System Engineer

We’re working with a global aerospace company that designs, manufactures, and sells airplanes, rotorcraft, rockets, satellites, telecommunications equipment, and missiles worldwide. They are one of the largest global aircraft manufacturers and a major defense contractor.The Role Contribute to systems engineering efforts on new development, production, and/or sustainment programs Work with multi-disciplinary teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, verification, and test criteria Perform analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and other system attributes Support program design reviews and technical assessments Help adopt and use modern systems engineering methods, including Model-Based Systems EngineeringWhat You'll Need Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Physics 2 or more years of related engineering experience Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) Prior Systems Engineering experience (system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation) Experience with Aircraft, Mission Systems and/or Weapon System development Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo, MSOSA)What's On Offer Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, and retirement savings plans Generous 401(k) plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 10% of eligible pay Opportunity for student loan match within the 401(k) planApply via Haystack today!
