Job DescriptionWe have a customer in Thornton, CO who has an IMMEDIATE, long-term DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a Estimator who has experience in Plumbing, HVAC, and Process Piping for a variety of projects. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW.In this role you will lead estimating for plumbing, HVAC and Process piping for Institutional projects, Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Hospitals, and Industrial Projects. On Projects over $1M in size you will work under the guidance of a Sr. Estimator. You will also be responsible for managing multiple projects, reading and reviewing drawings, specifications, bid documents and then accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment and labor. You will also be responsible for soliciting, evaluating and preparing bid proposals in an attractive and effective manner for General Contractors and Owners.This is a long-term DIRECT HIRE on-site position located in Thornton, CO.Annual salary for this position is in the $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 range.JOB REQUIREMENTS:1-5 years+ experience as an Estimator for Plumbing, HVAC and Process Piping for a variety of projects including Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Hospitals, and Industrial facilitiesAbility to lead all estimates up to $1M and work under the guidance of a Sr. Estimator on projects $1M and largerMust be able to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficient at reading and understanding drawings, specifications, and bid documents and then accurately compile a summary of materials, equipment and labor. Also must understand construction field conditions, means and methods, schedulesExperience with Quickpen, Autobid or similar S/W preferredProficient with MS Office, Outlook, Teams, BlueBeamMust have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to solicit, evaluate and prepare bid proposals in a professional, attractive and effective manner
