For our client, we are seeking a Developer Relations Engineer IV to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.This role will serve as a technical advocate for developers, helping shape how payment APIs are documented, explained, and adopted. You will partner closely with engineering teams and internal stakeholders to improve the developer experience, strengthen technical enablement, and ensure external audiences can effectively integrate with the company's platform. The position also combines public-facing communication with hands-on technical depth, including tutorials, sample applications, and event presentations.You will help translate complex API functionality into clear, accurate resources that support adoption and reduce friction for developers working in a payments environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $135,000 – $170,000 annuallyResponsibilities Collaborate with engineering teams to update API specifications Ensure technical documentation is accurate and user-friendly Write detailed documentation for existing and new payment APIs Develop tutorials showcasing sample applications leveraging APIs Produce high-quality video tutorials for API usage Represent the organization at events with technical presentations Advocate for developer client needs with internal teamsQualifications 8+ years of hands-on development and API integration experience 8+ years as an engineer or developer evangelist with public speaking or technical publishing experience Outstanding oral and written communication skills Previous experience in payments or fintech is a plus Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Python, C, C++, SWIFT, and PHP Experience in SQL and No-SQL databases Familiarity with Agile methodologiesBenefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage Flexible Paid Time Off 401(k) + Match Mental Health Support and Well-Being Program Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave Education Assistance Company-funded Lifestyle Spending AccountOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
