Who You AreYou are a senior-level engineer with experience across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments who can architect scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency through automation, and collaborate across infrastructure, security, development, and platform engineering teams.About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid network infrastructure environments. This role combines deep networking expertise with modern cloud engineering, automation, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code capabilities.This position requires strong technical leadership, hands-on engineering capability, and the ability to operate effectively in complex multi-cloud enterprise environments.Other responsibilities include:Cloud & Network ArchitectureDesign and support secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCPEngineer hybrid cloud connectivity solutions including VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and cloud routing architecturesImplement and maintain enterprise DNS, load balancing, segmentation, and traffic management solutionsSupport modernization initiatives involving cloud-native and software-defined networking technologiesInfrastructure Automation & DevOpsDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and AnsibleBuild and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments and automation workflowsDevelop Python-based automation solutions and API integrationsStandardize cloud provisioning, deployment, and operational processes through automationKubernetes & Platform EngineeringSupport Kubernetes platforms including AKS, EKS, and GKE environmentsAssist with Kubernetes networking, ingress, service connectivity, and infrastructure integrationsCollaborate with platform engineering and development teams to improve cloud-native operationsSupport scalable and resilient containerized infrastructure solutionsSecurity & Operational ExcellenceImplement cloud networking and infrastructure security best practicesSupport firewall, segmentation, and access control strategies across cloud and hybrid environmentsParticipate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisImprove operational visibility, reliability, and efficiency through automation and monitoringLeadership & CollaborationMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidanceParticipate in architecture reviews and infrastructure planning initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Security, DevOps, Development, and OperationsContribute to technical standards, documentation, and best practicesComplete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies to the requirements section Identify and escalate security risks to the appropriate Executive Leadership Team member and actively contribute to remediation effortsOther duties as assigned Required skills and experience:8+ years of enterprise networking and infrastructure engineering experience5+ years of cloud engineering experience in AWS, Azure, and/or GCPStrong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using TerraformExperience with automation tools such as Ansible and PythonHands-on experience supporting Kubernetes environments (AKS, EKS, or GKE)Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, DNS, VPN technologies, Firewalls, and network security principlesExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflowsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesDesired skills:Experience with multi-cloud networking architecturesExperience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CDFamiliarity with cloud-native networking concepts and Kubernetes networkingExperience with SDN technologies such as VMware NSXExperience with load balancers, proxies, and traffic management platformsKnowledge of Zero Trust or cloud security frameworksPrior consulting or professional services experienceCisco CCNP, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform certifications preferredMust be based in the United States. Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $150,000- $160,000, plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission.
