This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and supporting the successful execution of commercial painting projects.This position reports directly to the Owner and plays a key role in the growth of CertaPro Painters' commercial business across the TriangleKey ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentProactively identify and pursue new commercial opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and relationship buildingDevelop relationships with property managers, facility managers, business owners, and other commercial decision makersParticipate in industry events and trade showsAttend networking events, association meetings, and occasional after-hours customer eventsSales and Relationship ManagementBuild trust-based relationships that lead to repeat business and referralsPresent CertaPro Painters professionally and differentiate us through clarity, reliability, and follow-throughWin work in a competitive market by being responsive, prepared, and credibleEstimating and ProposalsConduct site visits to assess scope and gather project requirementsPrepare detailed, accurate written proposals that clearly define scope, expectations, and pricingLearn and apply commercial paint systems and products through training and experienceUtilize Excel and internal CertaPro systems to support accurate estimatingManage and approve change ordersProduction CoordinationCommunicate project scope and customer expectations to the Operations teamStay engaged during active projects to drive customer satisfactionAssist in resolving customer concerns promptly and professionallyAdministrativeMaintain accurate job and proposal records in CertaOnePrepare regular performance and activity updates for review with the OwnerWhat We're Looking ForB2B sales experience strongly preferredRelationship-driven mindsetExcited by prospecting and developing new relationshipsStrong work ethic and willingness to hustleExposure to construction, painting, or trades is a plusExperience with estimating or quoting is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and comfort with estimatingComfortable using Excel, technology, and business systemsCoachable, curious, and eager to learn the technical aspects of commercial paintingValid driver's license and ability to travel locallyWhat We OfferSalary plus commission compensation structureHands-on training and ongoing development, including in-person training at CertaPro corporate officesWork directly with business ownerOpportunity to help build and scale the commercial side of our businessLong-term career growth for the right personThis franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
