Job DescriptionSenior Business AnalystLocation: New York, New Jersey, Tampa, USType: Full-timeDepartment: TechnologyJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst (VP level) to drive complex, strategic initiatives and act as a key interface between business, technology, production support, and Appian development teams. This role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage multiple projects, and deep expertise in stakeholder engagement across all levels of the organization.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & DocumentationLead the creation, review, and maintenance of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and process workflowsTranslate business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables for technology and Appian development teamsEnsure high-quality documentation with full traceability and alignment to business objectivesAppian Project DeliveryWork closely with Appian development teams on workflow automation and low-code platform initiativesGather and refine requirements specific to Appian-based solutions, including process models and business rulesSupport design discussions, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needsFacilitate UAT and ensure successful delivery of Appian applicationsProject & Program ManagementManage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, and budgetMonitor progress, identify risks and issues, and drive mitigation and resolutionCoordinate across global teams to ensure seamless executionResource ManagementAllocate and optimize resources across initiatives based on priorities and capacityPartner with leadership to forecast resource needs and manage constraints effectivelyMentor and guide junior analysts and team membersGovernance & ReportingLead governance forums, including status reporting, risk reviews, and escalation managementPrepare and present updates to senior leadership, steering committees, and executive stakeholdersEnsure adherence to organizational standards, controls, and compliance requirementsProduction Support LiaisonAct as the primary liaison between project teams and production support teamsSupport issue triage, root cause analysis, and prioritization of production defectsEnsure smooth transition of projects into production with proper documentation and knowledge transferCollaborate on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system stability and performanceStakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, technology teams, and cross-functional partnersLead senior stakeholder meetings, including steering committees and executive reviewsProvide strategic insights and recommendations to enable informed decision-makingCommunicate complex business and technical concepts effectively to diverse audiencesEligibility RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred)12+ years of experience in Business Analysis in BFSI domainProven experience operating at VP level or equivalent senior roleStrong expertise in BRD development, requirements gathering, and process analysisHands-on experience working on Appian or similar low-code platform projectsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneouslyExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skillsExperience working with production support teams and managing post-production activitiesPreferred Skills:Experience in global banking or financial institutionsAppian certification or exposure to BPM/workflow automation toolsFamiliarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologiesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesExperience in team leadership and mentoringGood to have - Knowledge of Pega BPM platformIn the US, the target base salary for this role is $140-150K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
