Using agile digital technology, our solutions optimize all aspects of the aircraft operations and maintenance ecosystem including safety, environmental sustainability, and efficiency.As an Experienced Data & AI Platform Cloud DevOps / DataOps Engineer (Level 3), you will work as an DevOps with limited supervision to build and maintain our cloud environments, data pipelines, and manage Databricks in an Azure Cloud Platform. This position requires working closely with a team to ensure high availability and redundancy of all systems. The position will involve improving our build and data pipelines and ensuring successful delivery of new releases, developing infrastructure code, SRE-related tasks, and ultimately increasing value to the customer. This individual should have a persistent hunger to learn and solve problems in the pursuit of perfection in Seattle, WA.Position ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with other roles and skillsets, including data scientists, developers and product ownersHelp architect, design, and ultimately build scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems and environmentsEvangelize DevOps throughout the work, organization, and interactions with othersEffectively contribute to building the overall knowledge and expertise of the technical teamImplement and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)maintain repeatable patterns and policies, discoverable automated templates, and policy as codeDevelop cloud infrastructure/platform codeImplement DevOps and DataOps practices for data pipelinesImplement systems to monitor system health, data qualityMonitor health of the application and environment, and act to return system to health when alertedImplement access-control and security systemsMonitor health of the application and environment, and act to return system to health when alertedEffectively contribute to building the overall knowledge and expertise of the technical teamRequired Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Minimum 2 years Cloud deployment experience (Azure preferred)Minimum 3 years Software Development experienceExperience with development, deployment and version control tools (e.g. Gitlab, Atlassian)Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins/Gitlab CI/CD)Experience using modern database and storage systems (e.g. data mesh, blob storage, knowledge graphs)Experience supporting an AI or ML development teamBachelor's degree or higher in a technical fieldPreferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):Experience with modern AI and ML technologies (Databricks Unity Catalog)Experience with DevOps practices for data pipelinesExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably using TerraformExperience with secure system-to-system communication in the cloudKnowledge of Platform-as-a-Services offerings like Cloud Foundry & DatabricksExperience with container orchestration using Kubernetes or similarExperience with data models and database designExperience operating in a production environmentExperience with monitoring and logging tools, especially in the context of zero-trust architectureFamiliarity with static code analysis tools, such as CoverityAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
