Starting pay: $26.19 after 12 months $28.48 Night Differential: $7% Essential Functions  Follow all Safety SOPs and procedures  Perform Loading, VNA and Receiving functions per SOPs  Provide break to Planner when needed  Operates a stretch wrapper, forklift, dock equipment and battery changer in a safe manner  Fulfill orders per SOPs and customer/facility guidelines  Read/understand information on the load tag to verify quantity for skid is correct  Secure cases per SOPs on quality pallets to ensure product integrity is maintained during transit  Receive, label and perform basic tasks within Warehouse Management System (WMS) for product identification and adjustments  Utilize inventory management system efficiently and accurately (WMS, Yard Management System (YMS), Infolink, and Transportation Management System (TMS))  Keep dock boards updated with critical information per SOP for efficient load out  Monitor products on loaded trailers to ensure meets customer expectations and certification requirements for HP Hood and customers  Verify skid counts on loads match orders  Ensure product is loaded and unloaded in a safe efficient manner, compliant with SOP guidelines.  Communicate clearly and professionally with others via radio, directly and within systems  Inspect equipment and provides work orders for any items in need of repair to Leadership  Validate, create and provide changes for SOP documents for position  Conduct Shift Change Brief with prior shift  Keep assigned areas and work floor clean and organized  Other duties as assigned by shift supervisor  Various tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products Education and Experience  Excellent driving skills, hand/foot-eye coordination and manual dexterity  Good record keeping / clerical skills  Good basic math and reading skills  Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills  High School Diploma or equivalent  Experience or training as a forklift operator is desirable  Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable  Excellent computer skills Physical Requirements  Lifting: Heavy (over 70 lbs.) infrequently  Standing: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)  Sitting: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)  Walking: Constantly  Ability to climb: Infrequently  Bending: Frequently  Ability to work with arms outstretched to the front  Pushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs. without assistance infrequently Special Requirements…  Ability to become forklift certified  Ability to work in Cold Warehouse environment  Ability to multi-task HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity Employer Female/Minority/Veteran/Disabled "VERVRAA Federal Contractor" Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
