Establish and maintain a positive consistent work environment including personnel policy development, training safety and housekeeping.Participate in shift change brief.Manifest loads correctly.Housecleaning. Keep floor, racks, and equipment clean.Marks off and ID skids properly with the destination and the dispatch number on the outside of the wrap.Shrink wraps pallet to ensure skid integrity is maintained during transit.Loads product in accordance within SOP guidelines to ensure accuracy and load integrity.Loads and unloads trailers in a safe efficient manner.Operates material handling equipment: stretch wrap machines, skid compressor, and skid flipper.Inspects and operates a forklift.Participate in all safety programs as needed for the department.Operates computer programsFill in with warehouse operations as business needs requireOther duties as assigned by shift supervisor.Various tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products.Education and Experience…Excellent driving skills, hand/foot-eye coordination and manual dexterityGood record keeping / clerical skillsGood far-visual differentiation and depth perceptionGood basic math and reading skillsGood oral communication and human relations skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentSome experience or training as a forklift operatorPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirablePhysical Requirements…Lifting: Heavy (over 70 lbs) infrequentlyStanding: Long periods (a minimum of 6 hours)Sitting: Most of the day (a minimum of 5 hours)Walking: ConstantlyAbility to climb: infrequently (less than 10 x per hour)Bending: FrequentlyAbility to work with arms outstretched to the frontPushing/Pulling: under 75 lbs without assistance infrequentlySpecial Requirements…Fork truck license.Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.The pay range for this position is$30.06 - $32.88 USDHP Hood is an Equal Opportunity EmployerFemale/Minority/Veteran/Disabled"VERVRAA Federal Contractor"Privacy PolicyCCPAFor Applicants in Massachusetts - It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
