Technical Support Engineer - Automation (Hybrid - Santa Clara, CA)

OverviewWe are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. This role will be responsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the Client's platform. You will be the first point of escalation within the technical support department, as well as providing regular communication updates to customers on the progress of their requests/cases.Contract and ScheduleThis is a 12-month contract (extension possible). 40 hours per week, 2-3 days onsite at the client's office in Santa Clara, CA.EmploymentThis is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing and resolving the most challenging issues for the Client's platform.Being the first point of escalation within the technical support department, as well as providing regular communication updates to customers on the progress of their requests/cases.Able to quickly gain an understanding of the ServiceNow platform.Maintain a high level of customer interaction, demonstrating both technical competence and the interpersonal skills necessary to build trust and rapport.RequirementsExperience writing and debugging JavaScript CodeWorking knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java and JavaScript).Understanding of SQL and database conceptsWorking knowledge of Web Technologies (Apache, Tomcat, HTML, XML, JSON)Understanding of remote administration via SSH, SNMP, WMI, PowerShellUnderstanding of Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP, concepts of firewall, load balancer, and portsFamiliarity with VMware, AWS, Azure, and Event Management Systems.Excellent troubleshooting skillsPlease submit your resume to our network at stage4solutions.com/careers/ (apply to the Technical Support Engineer – Automation (Hybrid – Santa Clara, CA) role).Please feel free to forward this job post to others you think may be interested.Stage 4 Solutions is an equal-opportunity employer.
