As Business Office Manager, you will take charge of accounts receivable, billing operations, and resident financial services within your facility. Your work will ensure our residents receive the highest standard of care they have grown to expect at ALIYA Healthcare — and that their financial needs are met with accuracy, compassion, and professionalism.Responsibilities:Manage all accounts receivable functions including private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance billingEnsure Public Aid applications are completed within 7 days of admission in coordination with Admissions and familyEnroll residents in direct deposit through RFMS and maintain accurate daily status reportingConduct weekly collection calls and document all efforts in PCC Collections TabComplete Medicaid Redetermination forms immediately upon receipt with all required supporting documentationReconcile trust accounts monthly and pay resident insurance premiums by the 5th of each monthVerify insurance coverage and eligibility for all residents upon admission and on an ongoing basisAttend Medicare Meetings and maintain up-to-date knowledge of resident payer sources and coverageAct as liaison between the Corporate Office and families for all billing-related questionsComplete daily census and deposits; submit credit card payments to AR Specialist for postingBenefits:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life InsuranceCritical Illness InsuranceShort-Term Disability InsuranceAccident InsuranceHospital Indemnity Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanOn-Demand Pay OptionPaid Time Off (PTO)Tuition Reimbursement ProgramQualifications:2+ years of experience in a Business Office Manager or healthcare billing role, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care settingStrong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay billing processesExperience with PCC, RFMS, or similar healthcare billing and EHR platforms preferredFamiliarity with Public Aid applications, Medicaid Pending processes, and DHS proceduresStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and facility leadershipCNAHP
