We help you move, build, and win.Position SummaryThe Partner, Finance is a senior business development leader responsible for building and growing Amplēo's finance practice within their area of industry and domain expertise. This role is the face of Amplēo in the market — opening doors, closing engagements, cultivating a reputation as the go-to finance advisor in their niche, and ensuring every client experiences the full value of our cross-functional platform.This is primarily a sales and client-leadership role. Our fractional CFOs and consultants own the day-to-day delivery. The Partner, Finance brings the business in, may step in as a high-level strategic advisor on select engagements, and drives long-term growth across the book.Partners are expected to develop a vertical — whether that's cybersecurity, quantum, robotics, deep-tech, SaaS, manufacturing, or another sector where they have deep credibility — and build Amplēo's brand and footprint in that space.This is a performance-driven role for a finance executive who thrives in growth environments and is motivated by building something of their own inside a platform that supports them.On-Target Earnings (OTE): $250,000 – $350,000. Total compensation is commission-driven and uncapped. OTE is achievable at 100% of quota, with significant upside for top performers.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, pursue, and close new client engagements within target industries and marketsBuild and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified prospectsDevelop referral networks and strategic partnershipsRepresent Amplēo at networking events, industry forums, and business development meetingsCollaborate with marketing and internal teams to support lead generation initiativesCross-sell services across business units to increase total client valueMaintain accountability for revenue targets and growth objectivesEnsure financial integrity through oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Serve as a trusted financial advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, translating financial data into actionable insights that improve profitability, operational performance, and strategic planning.Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership and clients by developing financial strategies, forecasting growth scenarios, and advising on key business decisions that drive long-term value.Assess client needs and recommend appropriate fractional CFO or finance servicesStrengthen client retention through proactive engagement and measurable resultsIdentify account expansion opportunities and renewal strategiesProvide strategic oversight and mentorship to finance consultants as neededContribute to the development of finance service offerings and go-to-market strategySupport the finance practice in scaling capabilities and market positioningQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or executive financial leadership roles.Experience in cybersecurity, Quantum, robotics, deep-tech, and similarDemonstrated success in business development and closing professional services engagementsStrong executive presence and consultative selling abilityAbility to build relationships with C-suite leaders and business ownersExperience owning or growing a book of business preferredExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrong financial acumen and ability to assess business performance quicklyPreferred: CPA, CMA, MBA, or similar professional credential Prior CFO, fractional CFO, or consulting experience Experience in professional services, advisory, or consulting environmentsApplicants must be currently located in Colorado and authorized to work in the United States.BenefitsFlexible PTOMedical, dental, and vision insurance with FSA optionsCompany-paid life insurancePaid parental leave401(k) with company matchProfessional development opportunities12 paid holidays off
