Site Superintendent
The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.
**This position requires a significant amount of travel, estimated at approximately 80% of the time. The primary focus will be on locations throughout the Midwest and East Coast regions of the United States. Occasional travel to the West Coast may also be required, depending on business needs and project assignments. **
“A Day in the Life”
As the Site Superintendent you will model outstanding customer service through strong communication and collaboration skills both internally and with our external customers. You will also provide focus on meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations, supporting sales growth, service growth and customer satisfaction.
”What You’ll Do”
Attend site visits with Account Executives and Project Managers
Manual/Physical labor; very hands-on with projects in the field
Create scope and schedule of work for project installations and dismantles
Supervise site work to ensure projects are installed & dismantled in a timely manner while adhering to safety policies
Develop a positive relationship with the client’s field superintendent & subcontractors
Use or direct the use of heavy equipment such as forklifts, manlifts, scissor lift and associated safety certifications
Communicate with Project Manager regarding status of project installations and dismantles
Prepare daily narrative reports to the Project Manager detailing progress, issues, and expenses
“Must Haves”
Thorough knowledge of construction industry and MEP coordination
Experience with logistics & coordination of site deliveries and subcontractors
Experience with budgets & field work orders
Ability to travel 80% of the time (weekend travel, if required, will be limited to every other weekend at the most)
Excellent communication skills & ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
Computer skills including Excel and Google
OSHA certifications are a plus
