Students in the program have a wide variety of academic, functional and behavioral needs that must be addressed in ways that foster student development and growth. Successful candidates will closely collaborate with program team members to manage student behaviors, implement IEPs and behavior plans, introduce new learning preplanned with the classroom teacher or academic content teacher, and support students in the regular and special education setting in both small groups and one on one to meet students’ unique needs. Training will be provided.QualificationsMust have authorization as an education technician I through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE).
