The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power healthcare applications and data integrations. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, reviewing code from peers, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to architectural decisions and technical documentation. The role involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to refine requirements, improve performance, and ensure security and compliance in all solutions. The Software Engineer is expected to participate in agile ceremonies, support deployments, and continuously improve development practices and tooling.Qualifications Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Experience with Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and related design patterns.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization is beneficial.Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and commitment to writing secure, reliable code for healthcare environments.
