Description: Plaintiff’s Medical Malpractice Attorney - (Westchester County, NY – In Office/Direct Hire or Remote/Contract-to-Hire) The Opportunity: This role offers the chance to handle large-scale, sophisticated plaintiff-side medical malpractice matters in a boutique environment that values autonomy, ownership, and top-quality advocacy. You’ll work on complex plaintiff-side medical malpractice cases in state and federal court, producing litigation-ready work product and playing a key role in case strategy. Key Responsibilities: Draft complaints, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and oppositions Conduct legal research and prepare briefs and pleadings Manage discovery and coordinate with experts Participate in depositions, hearings, and trial preparation Qualifications: 5–8 years of plaintiff-side medical malpractice litigation experience NY Bar admission required Strong, independent legal writing and research skills Background in large-scale plaintiff-side matters Compensation & Details: Direct Hire: $150K–$200K base + mid-year/year-end bonus + profit sharing Remote/Contract Option: $170K–$180K (20–30 hours/week), with one day/week onsite or as needed Billable target: 1,800–2,000 hours (for direct hire) Start date: ASAP Why Our Client: High-profile litigation without NYC commute Collaborative, small-firm culture Meaningful responsibility and client contact Growth-oriented environment with long-term opportunity What Will Not Work: MedMal defense-only backgrounds Solo practitioners We are an equal-opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
