Managing UX teams is not a requirement.Currently in-office as needed. The role is based in Chicago, and it is expected to transition to 5 days a week onsite eventually.Top SkillStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.Ability to influence without authority.Experience managing SDLC project teams.Azure DevOps experience is the most important technical skill.Experience with Figma and Aha! is good to haveTypical task breakdown:- You are adept at evolving, improving, and simplifying processes that scale across multiple teams and methodologies.- You excel at driving clarity and alignment among partners and stakeholders.- In this role, you will promote operational excellence, process improvement, and team enablement across UX engineering & design functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and optimize work practices that align up to a enterprise structure.Education & Experience Required:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.- 8 + years of successful experience as a UX Producer or Program/Project Manager, Engineering Program/Project manager leading large projects through the full product development life cycle in a large, cross-functional team. Skills- Experience a must with the following tools (e.g., Figma, Azure Dev Ops Confluence and Aha!).- Experience with resource planning and program delivery- Experience working with project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, and establishing communication plans Nice to Have:(Required)- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies (Agile to Waterfall)- Experience managing product development portfolios working cross collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Platform, UX Design and Research.- Strong ability to effectively manage cross functional projects, dependencies and bottlenecks- Experience escalating issues and anticipating and making hard trade-offs between business and customer need- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines pivoting as necessary in a fast-paced environment- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive through to delivery
