This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatric care and experienced in handling emergency and trauma situations.Position Details:Unit: Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ER)Contract Type: TravelKey Responsibilities:Provide emergency care to pediatric patients (infants to adolescents)Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuityMonitor, assess, and treat critically ill or injured childrenCollaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teamsEducate and support patients' familiesRequirements:Minimum 2+ years of recent Peds ER experience (within the last 3 years)Experience in a high-acuity or trauma facility preferredStrong triage experience requiredCurrent certifications required:BLSACLSPALS (requiredNIHSS (preferred/required based on facility)EPIC experience preferredActive RN license (state-specific as required)Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma CentersStrong pediatric assessment and emergency care skills
