Sr. Business AnalystLocation: Mechanicsburg, PA (Remote/Hybrid)Duration: 12 MonthsSeeking for a skilled Business Analyst will assist our technical team in gathering and documenting system functional and system requirements for new development projects and enhancements to existing applications. The role primarily uses the Waterfall methodology, with Agile methodology employed for project tracking and development efforts.Specific Duties:Collect, analyze, and document business rules, processes, and legislation.Lead business requirements gathering sessions with business and technical resources for complex system development projects.Analyze legislation or business documentation to determine necessary IT system changes or business process changes.Work with business users to develop improved business processes for IT system application in support of agency program policy.Prepare or review detailed functional specifications for complex IT systems development or enhancement projects.Prepare use cases or other types of requirements documentation.Assist with system testing and preparation of system change requests.Plan and prioritize system changes and assist with the creation of training materials.Troubleshoot system, data, or process problems.Identify opportunities for data migration and integration with development and database teams.Prepare mock-ups and process flows to document As Is and To Be business processes.Perform basic SQL queries for analysis purposes.Required Skills and Experience:Experience with SDLC, Waterfall, and/or Agile Methodology – 7 yearsExperience with writing use cases and requirements documents – 7 yearsExperience with developing business requirements – 7 yearsExperience with developing functional requirements – 7 yearsExperience in business process re-engineering – 7 yearsExperience in business change management – 3 years (Highly Desired)Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) – 3 years (Highly Desired)
