CT Tech Position CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00) Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: ARRT Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Previous experience in a community hospital setting is preferred. Experience with charting in Epic is required. Candidate must have skills in performing CT scans on various anatomical sites with contrast and without contrast. Description: The position requires a CT Tech responsible for performing both CT and radiology exams. During night shifts, the volume of both CT and radiology exams may be low, but the tech will be the sole staff member responsible for these exams. On-call duty is required 2-4 days per month to provide additional support when necessary. Weekend coverage is mandatory, specifically shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 14:00 to 22:30. It is essential for candidates to have experience with specific imaging equipment, including GE, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba. The patient ratio during day shifts is typically 2:1, while night shifts will have a ratio of 1:1, ensuring personalized patient care. This role involves preparing and administering contrast media for imaging. The CT Tech will engage with patients of diverse age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The candidate will work alongside various interdisciplinary teams, such as IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. This position's primary duties will include performing routine CT exams and additional responsibilities as needed. Traveling team members may be required to float to nearby facilities if necessary. A valid vehicle is required for transportation to the work site.
