Commercial Energy Title Examiner

Working remotely as a contractor, the Commercial Energy Title Examiner will conduct comprehensive title searches, identify and resolve defects, and ensure property titles are clear for utility or construction projects. Key responsibilities Conduct thorough title searches and resolve title defects for energy projects Provide expert support on sovereignty title, mineral/royalty, leasehold, and title insurance requirements Prepare and review legal documents and initial Energy Reports for accuracy and completeness Required qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Landman/Energy Title Examiner or equivalent At least 3 years' experience as a Commercial Title Examiner or equivalent Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Working knowledge of commercial and energy title processes Experience with industry-recognized title platforms, preferably RamQuest and Integrity Title Plant
