This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and hands-on legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys tackling complex challenges.If you have strong experience in the technology sector, particularly supporting commercial teams and negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSAs) in a client-facing role, this could be a great fit.Key ResponsibilitiesAs Associate General Counsel, you will:Ensure compliance with U.S. and international laws and regulations related to:Privacy and data protectionConsumer protectionCybersecurityProvide legal analysis and guidance on applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsPartner cross-functionally to build strong internal relationships and serve as a trusted legal advisorCreate, improve, and streamline internal legal processes and workflowsDraft, review, and update legal documents, contracts, and policiesSupport business teams in managing legal risk while enabling growthIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate will bring:Experience supporting a technology or AdTech businessDeep expertise negotiating MSAs and commercial agreementsStrong communication skills and confidence in client-facing discussionsA proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and drive projects forwardComfort operating in a dynamic environment with evolving prioritiesREQUIREMENTS:At least 8 years of experience as in-house counsel in a tech start-up and/or major law firmDeep experience in legal and business decisions, critical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent communication skills: written/verbal/presentationAbility to communicate legal matters in layman's termsKnowledge of General Data Protection Regulation, CA Privacy Rights Act and CA Consumer Privacy ActDetail oriented, work well independently and collaboratively, while meeting deadlinesExperience drafting contracts and negotiating skillsWHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:100% medical/dental/vision coverage for employee with competitive dependent coverageStock Options, 401K and Life InsuranceCommuter FSA (hybrid employees)Paid Maternity/Paternity leave
