BayNova has an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Developer to join our team in support of an important federal government client, in a fully remote / work from home role.Job ResponsibilitiesWork through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzing business requirements, functional/technical specifications, designing, developing, testing, deploying the applications and providing production supportResponsible for all project designs and documentationServes as a primary liaison between the product owner and the project team by assisting in identifying, understanding, and documenting their business needsWorks closely with, and mentors, SharePoint team members to ensure knowledge sharing and effective solutioningMay be assigned to more than one project in parallel, and report to multiple stakeholdersDocuments user stories or tasksConducts presentations and communicates product features to both technical and non-technical communities Executes tasks for maintenance, development (and architecture design) or migration in the scope, schedule and budget, of SharePoint projects, including but not limited to:Integration and customization of SharePoint products and features using M365, especially SharePoint Online, Power Apps and Power AutomateExperience with building modern SharePoint sites using out of the box features with an emphasis on modern designDevelop workflows using Power Automate FlowDesign and develop dashboards, and reports using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate when appropriateCreate and customize forms using Power Apps Canvas AppsProvide end user technical supportMigrate SharePoint features and data with ShareGatePrepare and deliver SharePoint end user training materials or instructionsQualifications:5+ years experience as a Power Platform Developer, and SharePoint Architect or DeveloperExperience in designing and integrating Power Platform applications in SharePointProficient with presentation and web communication toolsExperience working on, coordinating, and communicating on cross-team initiativesDesign experience with SharePoint Online Modern look and feelAbility to communicate complex technical problems to a non-technical audienceStrong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesCustomer service orientedPassion and drive for learning new SharePoint technologies and practicesAbility to maintain a big-picture vision while defining very detailed requirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdaptable, dependable and independentPreferred Qualifications:Experience customizing and building Accessible SharePoint products and features, especially with Section 508 requirementsExperience with Information Architecture and / or User Interface Design (e.g. wireframes, mockups, etc.)Experience in designing, developing and integrating Tableau dashboards in SharePointExperience in designing and integrating Power BI dashboards in SharePointExperience using PowerShell, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or ShareGate +NintexExperience with Agile developmentProficient with requirements gathering tools. Atlassian experience a plusExperience with federal government systems
