Structural/Analysis Engineer

Perform FEA across a large variety of products / industries (i.e. construction/ag equipment, mining, ATV, recreational vehicle, etc). Primarily linear and non-linear analysis on steel/welded structures, cast parts, some occasional plastics. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field. Must be proficient with FEA software (preferably ANSYS or NASTRAN, but ok if experience is with other software) Minimum 4 years FEA experience. Minimum 2 years post grad FEA experience with welded structures. Good communication/interpersonal skills required. Will be talking to client engineers on a regular basis. Must be a US Citizen Must have stable work history Preferences Local/Regional candidates strongly preferred (Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota or Wisconsin) Prior heavy equipment exposure – farming background, mechanic experience, etc...
