Job Description JOB SUMMARYAssists and supports coworkers and performs repetitive Bonding operations to mass-produce commercial aircraft interior components such as galleys and closets for commercial transport aircraft. Must be able to work within the time constraints of the master production schedule and meet requirements dictated by the customer.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsPromotes cooperation and communication with co-workersPlaces panels and parts in specified relationship to each otherFollows installation procedures per engineering drawings and requirementsUnderstands the concept of utilizing work ordersValidates panel dimensions and insert locations by dry fitting before installing blocks, angles, doublers, and fittingsPrepares and organizes tools and parts for use in the manufacturing areaMaintain safe and effective use of all machine and hand tools as well as a safe work environmentMixes and applies adhesives as required, using manufacturers specifications as well as ECI requirementsPre-bonds doublers and cut/fold panels using shop aids per approved engineering drawingsDry fits and bond’s structure using tooling and shop aids to control the critical surfaces and interface pointsReport any defects to quality assurance and manufacturing engineersMust be able to self-inspect personal work and correct discrepancies in a timely mannerWorks at different workstations as production needs requireCleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment as requiredTasks could vary slightly from the various customer galleys & closetsPerforms other duties as assigned by production supervisorGENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and ExperienceEducation:A High School diploma is preferredExperience:Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidatesSome hands on experience is helpful (such as autobody, mechanic, construction helper, etc.)Schedule:Full-time position Monday - Friday1st shift: 6:00am-3:30pm or 2nd shift: 3:00pm-12:30pmPay rate: $17.50/hr. or $18.00/hr.Company DescriptionPathway Group is a Recruitment and Staffing service dedicated to the Manufacturing Industry.
