Senior Software Engineer - Docs Engineering - Documentation

The RoleSenior Software Engineer – Docs Engineering Team Build, maintain, and support the documentation platform, tooling, and pipelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, design solutions, and roll out systems and processes. What You Will Be DoingDevelop, maintain, and support software bridging the gap between content creation and high‑scale delivery. Work in a multi‑language environment across a range of technologies. Leverage AI‑assisted coding and emerging tools to improve engineering efficiency and automation. Translate business needs into elegant, scalable deployment patterns and processes in partnership with Product and other stakeholders. Maintain a relentless focus on usability, ensuring our documentation platforms provide a world‑class experience for developers. What You BringMinimum 8 years of recent software engineering experience, with proficiency in a variety of programming languages. Proven experience building, releasing, supporting, and maintaining software products for a broad user base. Comfortable with AI‑assisted coding and a drive to integrate these tools into the modern development lifecycle. Deep understanding of industry best practices, complex architectures, and the nuances of distributed systems. Strong focus on usability and developer experience. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across a remote, global team. Prior experience with Elastic products is a plus but not essential. CompensationBase salary only, with a typical starting range of €67,000–€106,000EUR.
