This role is responsible for coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and ensuring cargo moves efficiently through port and terminal processes.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate export shipments from booking through departurePrepare and review shipping documentation including bills of lading and manifestsMonitor shipment timelines and cut-offsCommunicate with customers, carriers, and terminal partnersEnsure compliance with international shipping and customs requirementsResolve shipment discrepancies and delaysQualifications:Experience in ocean freight, port operations, or export logisticsStrong documentation and coordination skillsBilingual English/Spanish requiredKnowledge of Caribbean trade lanes is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAscendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
