About the Event
Our client is bringing its immersiveDroneArt Event Showto Boston — a large-scale, visually captivating experience combining live music and drone light displays. With a capacity of4,200 attendees per show , this is a high-profile, high-volume production requiring strong on-site leadership to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experience.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experiencedEvent Managerto oversee all on-site operations and lead event staff across multiple functions. This individual will act as themain point of contact for event execution , working closely with theProducer/Production Manager and internal teamsto ensure all logistics, staffing, and guest experience elements run smoothly.
This is ahands-on leadership role , ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, large-scale event environments and is comfortable managing both people and operations in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Event Leadership & Staff Management
Oversee and manage all event staff includingticketing/FOH, ushers, merch, and setup teams
Serve as the primary liaison betweenCareer Group staff and Fever production team
Lead staff briefings, assign roles, and ensure team alignment across all shifts
Monitor staff performance and step in as needed to maintain efficiency and professionalism
Event Operations & Execution
Overseesetup, execution, and breakdownof all event components
Ensure all areas (ticketing, seating, merch, etc.) are fully staffed and operational
Troubleshoot issues in real time and make quick, informed decisions
Ensure adherence to event timelines, run-of-show, and operational standards
Guest Experience
Maintain a high standard ofguest experience and crowd management
Support FOH operations and resolve guest concerns as they arise
Ensure smooth ingress and egress for large volumes of attendees
Logistics & Coordination
Coordinate with production onevent flow, signage, materials, and staffing needs
Oversee inventory and materials includingFOH kits, merch, and setup supplies
Ensure all equipment and supplies are accounted for before and after each event
Schedule
Thursday, May 21 (Training / Load-In)
2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Review event plans, signage, staff structure, and operational flow with Fever team
Friday, May 22
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (setup oversight)
5:15 PM – 10:45 PM (event operations)
Saturday, May 23
5:45 PM – 12:45 AM (+1) (event operations + load-out)
Sunday, May 24
Contingency date (if needed)
Qualifications
Priorevent management or lead-level event experience required
Strong ability to managelarge teams and high-volume events
Excellentleadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with the ability to multitask under pressure
Comfortable with bothoperational oversight and hands-on support
Professional, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Must be available forall event dates
